try herbal essences it works, i've been using it for 7 monthsWhat is the best shampoo for a teen with dry curly hair?
cream of nature shampoo (it's in the ethnic aisle)
wash your hair every other day
braid and let air dry
prob won't need a conditioner, but every other week you can use aveda, or organix conditioner
organix also makes great shampoo as well
I have the same situation.
Pert is really good because my hair doesn't tangle as much, but it doesn't have much of a smell.
Herbal Essence is fab - few tangles, less greasy hair and smells good.
I've used Suave, too, that worked well - but didn't seem to be vibrant for as long as Herbal Essence.
I'd reccoment Herbal Essence. I straighten my hair a little in the mornings when my hair is dry and it stays that way all day.
Good Luck - hope this helps!
For the dryness, try Pantene Pro-V conditioners. They're inexpensive and really do the trick. As for straightening, don't use any hot irons; that will only make your hair dryer and damage it. Try using big rollers after your hair is dry. They will relax your hair and straighten out a little but with no heat damage!
i have curly. aka. frizzyish hair. i like dove, the moisturizing one. and then i just bought the john frieda weather works, conditioner and i really like it. i havent tried the shampoo yet though. and then i like the weather works cream to put in before styling as well.
You might try Pantene Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner. It was recently voted best by Self magazine. About once a month you should probably use a more intense conditioner, one you leave on for 5 minutes or so, especially in the winter months.
you need to use a coconut shampoo :)
it has natural oils in it
which will rehydrate the cortex in your hair :)
