Trim your split ends.

Mix two tablespoons of olive oil and one tablespoon of honey. Heat it in the microwave until it's hot, but not so hot that'll burn your scalp. Pour it onto your hair, then put a shower cap on and keep the oil hot by blow drying over the shower cap. After about 15 minutes, how long depending on the extent of damage, rinse and then shampoo normally. Don't forget to use conditioner and perhaps a depe conditioner. And leave-in conditioners are good too.

tresemme you get the shampoo and contitionor together and at a low cost thats what my mum uses or brush it lol
Only a trim will take care of your dry ends. But I like Pantene shampoo, especially in winter so I don't get flyaways.
It sounds like you need to trim the ends off...they also sell a cholestorol (sp?) treatment at sally's beauty supply or hair salons...good luck
Mine is kinda frizzy too... but not frizzy enough where i have an afro or anything, just poofy when it rains, ect. Anyways, Hello Hydration from Herbal Essence really helped, and for a while i would use Friz-ezz by John Frida

To answer your question, the best way to cure dry and frizzy tips is to get a trim. However, there are kinds of shampoos and conditioners that are made for dry and frizzy hair like herbal essences, pantene, or many others that will make your hair silky. I do not know of any homemade recipes for silky hair though. I don't think that there is a way to make you hair completely frizz free.
My grandmother told me to smear mayonnaise liberally into my hair, wrap my head with plastic wrap and a towel for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. It's so much better that conditioner and a lot cheaper, too.

Try it before you write it off. In my grandmother's day they didn't have condition in a bottle.
I colored my hair for years and it became brittle and broke easily so it wouldnt grow. An elderly aunt told me the secret to shiny soft hair and here it is

Wash and rinse it with cold water. I know it sounds terrible but you get used to it after a couple of times and in 2 weeks you will notice a big difference. My hair feels like stain its so soft and smooth and it grows so fast now I have to cut it every other month to keep it from getting too long. Let me know how this works for you
A generous oil application and massage is recommended before washing the hair. Frequent shampooing is harmful for dry hair. Sometimes lack of nutrients can also cause dry brittle hair. Take a multivitamin and mineral supplement on a daily basis. Check out http://solutionsfordryhair.blogspot.com/ for more info.
